Finally had some extra cash and became a member here even though I have been enjoying this site for some time. Name is Mark from Detroit (yes in the city) and have always enjoyed hunting and owning a couple of guns. My first love was blackpowder guns, then I started buying hunting rifles.
This year the shooting thing really went to the brain because I have almost tripled my firearm collection. A few more blackpowder, a few handguns and even some mil-surps now are part of my collection. I have my cpl permit and started reloading also in my spare time. I also enjoy fishing and camping and most anything in the outdoors.
Nice website you have here and now I can proudly say I'm a member. MGO is much better than the "other" group I belong to which I will let my membership expire next year. Cya outdoors somewhere.....

Welcome aboard Mark and thanks for joining up. Hope to see you at one of the fun shoots (need to get one goin' soon) or at a board meeting. We do seem to have some fun around here.

Hey Lauren... northern Nevada ain't the southwest! It's sort of....uh.... north of southwest...??? :roll: Summer temps are about the same as they are here only a lot cooler at night and no humidity. Not nearly as cold in the winter either and no snow. Of course there's not many trees but....
