Congrats! Where'd you pick him up? In the back yard? So....who are you going to serve the yote-ka-bobs to? (and no, I'm not interested in a yote-meal thank-you-very-much!)

Lansing....wow. Two I saw a couple of years ago south of lansing....Mason....were easily twice that size. I'd put 'em closer to 50 pounds. I know, they only get to like 35 in Michigan...............

Do they still have bounties on coyotes in Michigan?

No bounties on Coyote in Michigan... They may average 35 pounds here!! the eastern Coyote is a different breed than the western Coyote. The eastern have timberwolf blood in them. I fella Steve and I both know who won a contest 2 years ago gets coyote in the 50 pound range all the time. Last year he was in my driveway about every other day with another Coyote. My black phase was about 48 pounds and real tall. He had at least 4 inches on my springer. I love calling them and having them answer and sending a smoking round into one is a real thrill.
Yah he does real well for sure....
they like to answer to firetruck sirens a lot

Dang...I wish we had some snow. The dogs are waiting, the rifles are waiting, the shotguns are waiting, the hunters are waiting and at this rate, they will be paired up before we know it. Dang...
Nice yote.
