Beginners welcome! There will be basic instruction for new shooters before shooting. This is a great opportunity for women to get out and shoot with other women in a non threatening atmosphere with knowlegable, experienced instructors. Steel shoots have something for every skill level from beginner to advanced, so come on out and shoot!

I just checked AccuWeather, and it looks like it is going to be a great day to be outside, shooting steel! Partly sunny, breezy, and a high of 66 degrees. Gorgeous weather! We have a very special course planned, and we are going to open up the shoot to husbands and significant others after the ladies are finished. There will be basic instruction before shooting for new shooters, and there will be something for every skill level. This is a great opportunity to come out and learn how to shoot or improve your skills in a safe, non-threatening atmosphere and have some fun! Come on out and shoot some steel!

Well, the shoot was an absolute blast! We had beautiful weather, and everyone learned a lot and had fun. We had a few new shooters who actually did very well, and are definitely feeling more confident about their shooting, and a few more experienced shooters who made improvements in their skills and marksmanship and had a great time with the challenge presented by the steel and the timer. I will be posting pics soon!

Special thanks to Jeff LaFave for all his help setting up the shoot, and thanks to the members of the Livingston Gun Club for all their support! The next shoot is the Deer Hunting Widow's Steel Shoot on Nov. 17, so mark your calendars and get ready to have some fun!

I really really wanted to go to this. But my car broke down. I hope to be there in November.
