Gerber Legendary Blades has voluntarily recalled approximately 154,000 of their Gerber EAB (Exchange-A-Blade) pocket knives following reports of individuals being injured when using them.

uhhhhhh,, errr ummmmm,,,,?????? should we send in all our kitchen knieves too??? :whacko: Sorry couldnt resist,,,, is there something defective with this knief??? I'm not familiar with it. Just trying to figure out why a company which makes knieves would have to recall something that did what it was made to do.

According to the link in my original post ........
Hazard: During use, the back of the blade of the knife can slide past the blade support, posing a laceration hazard to consumers.
Incidents/Injuries: Gerber has received eight reports of individuals cutting themselves while using the knife, including several individuals who required stitches.

Ehh Home depot has a cheaper version that we have been using at wrok for well over a year now. I dont need to spend 40 whenI can spend 10 and get a better knife and not pay for the name.

OIC,, the link wasnt there when I first viewed the post (or I wasnt paying attention) but I remember looking for it.
