Web space issue?

I like having them for reference as I'm sure others do too.

It would be nice to have a sold file so they don't keep coming back up with the current for sale items. Just my .02 .

There is a data base size issue but it's not really related to storage limitation as much as handling limitations. I backup the web site weekly and the database is getting huge.. It takes more time than I would like it to.

Additionally, it just may not serve our member's best interests to archive this data over the long term.

Just an idea, but what if we had an archive area. The older then 60 day postings would be placed in an archive area, that would save you from backing that data weekly. Not sure if it would work...

I believe what he is saying is with the out come of the elections and all. Things to come, cough cough.

Correct?

That's how I interpreted it...but don't think for a minute that the government doesn't have access to archive/backups of the web...

If we're voting, I'm OK with it.

Even better, I wish the feedback forum was reduced to a simple tally system, with no record of who left the feedback, but I realize that has some drawbacks of its own.
