Use the words "Sporting ammo in factory containers" on the shipper you type at the counter there, pack it so it does not rattle at all, should be fine.

They will ask you what caliber it is, say 22 and nothing else.

I have been asked if it was "machinegun ammo" when shipping 7.62x39 Steel Core. I said no.

Apparently they have a list of evil calibers they cannot take. Idiots.

Just say 22, insure for value +a bit if over $100, be sure shipping carton is innocuous.

I am not sure on that as it was about a year ago.

You will have to go to a UPS customer counter and NOT a "UPS Store" because they won't even take gun parts.
