Some folks are planning to meet over lunch in Kalamazoo. They intend to share their knowledge and experiences regarding open carry, particularly in regard to the west Michigan area.

Is there any age limit I would like to come, but I have to watch my 2 year old son because my wife is hosting a bridal shower at our house.

There is no age limit. We try to keep our events family friendly. Our recent Flint and Grand Rapids events both had children present.

This event has been changed to a 2:00 pm start time to accommodate the restaurant.

I attended and it was low key and great.

Great folks, good food, wonderful camaraderie.

I would encourage all to attend any local event such as this. Safety in numbers!

I guess I should post too! We had a great time. The owners (Theo & Stacy) both greeted me at the register and invited us back anytime!

The only fault I find with the event is that the table wasn't big enough! For next time: Come early, or get stuck in the overflow tables!

I think a GIANT round table would have been awesome, plus, it would have made us look cool... i mean who brings a giant round table to a restraunt?

also...I think we need more mexicains... I felt a little out of place being the only minority there... where are my bro's and my essays? eh?

And besides, you weren't the only minority. We had 4 women at the event!

Defcon1 here. My wife and I had a wonderful time meeting you and enjoying the food/company even if we did arrive late and end up at the kiddies table! You know how it goes, wife says......why don't we just stop here to pick this one little item. Then another little item. Etc. :) My fault, will plan on leaving an extra hour early for the next one! And am looking forward to the next one!!
