CMMG quality

Folks, what do you think of CMMG components? I'm thinkning about ordering one of their carbine kits.

I'm also interested in hearing about any probs with using them with either a Stag or Mega Machine lower.

CMMG is GTG, good to go. Built a few from them, no problems, while ago though.

Awesome Post. I just ordered the kit, along with a few "goodies" that were in stock. Any idea on how well they may work with either a Stag or Mega Machine lower? Right now I think I would prefer installing it on a Mega.

CMMG is good, I had an upper that i recently got rid of (upgraded to LMT and Noveske on all my rifles). It shot well and was dead-nuts reliable.


As far as which one to put it on?... Wait until you get the upper... then pick the one that closest matches the finish =)

If you search the mainstream forums I think you will find just an occasional note of concern regarding stuff only from their "bargain bin" (obviously some items receive such status for a reason other than just over stock) but other than that.. GTG! Seems to be more problems with shenanigans at shows if you follow some ARFcom threads.

Thx Gidaeon. I'm waiting for my lowers to arrive so I haven't had a chance to run this dude but playing around with it , adding some accessories, I have to say that the fit and finish are really good.
