Don't let yourself get too caught up reading the comments. The anti-"assault weapon" crowd seems to be going apesh!t over this gun.

I seen this rifle a while ago,and I'd buy one for the lady in my life.
Now if it came in Transformers or Ninja Turtles, I'd buy one for myself.

:yeahthat:
Or maybe even G.I. Joe! YO JOE!!
Then I could justify the expense to the wife! "But honey, It is a collectors piece that goes with the G 1 Optimus Prime that you bought me last year."

I'm building one for my wife. She has a picture of one on the refrigerator. Last summer at Camp Perry, I bought a DPMS stripped lower so she will have a "Pink Panther". Currently looking for an A2 buttstock and a lightweight 16" barrel. Pink DuraCote all ready to go.

Now put an AR-15 next to it, and show it to a liberal gun-control advocate and ask what the difference is..

What's up with that funky pistol grip? Is it a California thing?

Love the paint job on that rifle!! I can just hear the antis grinding their teeth into dust over the nerve of someone giving an AR the Hello Kitty treatment.

Yes.

I jokingly told my daughter I'd buy her one of those and she punched me.
Glad to know she likes the old fashioned ARs and not that thing.

I want a red one trimmed in blue with the Autobot logo on the stock.
Ghostbusters would be cool too.
The best cartoons were from the 80's, but that's probably because I grew up with 80's cartoons.

I demand Bugs Bunny or Daffy Duck.

Or maybe Elmer Fud with the ever popular " I'm hunting wabbits " quote on it ?

If you ask my 5yr old, she'll tell you that she wants the AK with the Hello Kitty Buttstock.
She's getting a Crickett. :) Maybe I'll get an AK for when she's older.

If I bought my wife one of those, she'd shoot me with it, then trade it in on a more traditional looking AR.

I could even get my anti-gun, anti-hunting, anti-meat eating, anti-fur coat, anti-logging daughter to shoot this gun. Hey, now that I see this in writing, I'm not sure she is my daughter!!

According to the article, yes. With the pistol grip "disappearing" it is CA legal, and even though the mag looks like a 30 rounder, it is permanently fixed to hold just 10 rounds.
With a little pushing, it might become the latest fashion accessory in San Francisco. ;)

How are the anit-gunners going to classify this one as an assault weapon, its not black!

Funny thing is I had a girl over the other night and was showing her standard pics of an AR-15, scoped + custom mods to AR-15, and asked her what she thought.
"Thats evil guns should be banned, blah blah blah.."
Then I showed her the AR-15 Hello Kitty Model, and they lady holding it firing down range and she almost instantly wanted it.

I would like to see a Bill Clinton model. His face on the buttstock, scope painted to look like a Cuban Cigar and the rest is blue with a few white splotches here and there.

they can have a detachable magazine(even over 10rd if preban) if they have this grip and no other "assualt weapon" features(flash suppersor, bayo lug, pistol grip, and a couple others)

Maybe they can, I don't know. I was just passing on the info posted about the rifle, and they said in the article the magazine was fixed to only hold 10 rounds.

I built an Ar-15 for my Fiance about a year ago, and painted the stock pink for her, and now she loves shooting!!

I adore taking things and customizing them to what I like. My hubby is going to build me an AR-15 which we are going to paint dark purple. I keep asking him to put glitter in it, but he still fights me a little on that part :P

I want a green/ pink dragonfly with glitter and chameleon paint.
Or sunshine/ butterfly with stainless.
Or...
You get the idea.
My husband wants his all black, drab.
But me with any AR-15 is scarier!
And then I have to find ammo for it....geez. A girl can dream!
