Done Deal I looked at the Scallion and they only do right handers. But that's only one model of Ken Onion, there are many different models where the pocket clip will switch for lefty's. You might want to go to the Kershaw store web site and see what models you like then shop all the stores on line and get a "real" price that falls into line. It takes a T6 Torx to change the clips on what I have encountered.

Thanks for the tip.

I asked the question on that site and am awaiting a response.

Assisted opening or automatic opening?

Response from Kershaw store was no left handed knives. They advised clip will flip but, without research, I dunno that it will put the AO flipper thingie where it needs to be for true one handed removal and opening from left side.

DD I figured out the confusion when I read your last post. Ok, on many of the Kershaw knifes there is a secondary way of flipping open their blades. Correct me if I'm wrong, you are talking about putting the nub gizmo you flip to open it, on the blade to the other side. RIGHT?
ON many of their models there is a secondary "nub" on the back of the blade, in the middle of the blade, that enables you to "push it like a button",located on the back of the blade, and it doesn't matter if your a lefty or righty. That bad boy opens as quick and easy as you please! Plus there is a "lock device" so it won't pop open in your pocket, located right below the nub. All you would have to do is move the pocket clasp to the other side using the T6 Torx I told you about.
I found the nub on the blade too small and hard to operate for my big arthritic, swollen hands and the models with the nub in the middle was a perfect answer.
I own the Ken Onion Boa model. Also, unless you have a good detailed catalog picture, you can't see the small holes where you can move the pocket clasp to. I'm waiting on a call from Kershaw, so I can set you up with a good rep to talk to on the phone (toll free),and get you some good pics so you completely understand what's out there. I know I hated not having a good fast acting blade until I saw this at Sportsmans Warehouse, before they left.
I'll PM you with the reps name and number when I get it. Hope this will enlighten you to what's out there and solve the problem and get ya where ya wanna be. You might find another brand that has the same thing less costlier, I just what you to know what's out there. Good Luck!

Thanks, I truly appreciate your efforts.

Friggin arthritis in my right hand makes it tough to even reach in my pocket much less operate a knife with one hand.

And some of those clips....while they were movable, didn't work right to enable me to carry the knife in my left front pocket, then remove and open it left handed without fiddling around with it.

I will be calling that guy tomorrow....that is if I don't get lynched sitting on a local Board of Review....
