To the Administrators, I'm sorry if I wasn't supposed to post the full picture. I'm just learning how to post the link address. If I am doing something wrong, let me know. Thanks, HAWKEYE50ML.

I'm a little torn. Put money down on a new Glock 19, 9mm, or spend the money on my concield carry permit. I guess the permit would be the best choice.

Very nice Ruger... One day I'll get one, I hear they are great guns.

I really am having fun with the Ruger. It shoots better than I expected.

Well Hawkeye50ml, you are kind of screwed. If you get the permit you are going to need a nice carry piece which the Glock 19 is a wonderful example. If however you decide on the Glock first you are just going to want to carry it and then you will need the permit.

I guess if I had to pick, I'd go permit first. You could always carry the 1911 with the right setup and heck, if you carried the Ruger I'd think you were pretty awesome. That is a nice looking gun!

The 45, carries pretty well. Has for years. Just want to be legal now. My interest in the Glock was to carry more comfortably.
The Ruger I inherited last Summer. My Dad asked me to research a reliable, easy to use varmit pistol. I still had all of the back issues of GUN TEST magizine. They did a comparison review of comperable revolvers. The Ruger was rated a "BEST BUY". Dad did. And now it's mine. Ironic how things work out.
I do intend on aquiring a leather holster for the Ruger soon.
