I didn't read the entire thing but....LE is being distributed an informational packet kinda like a study guide about OC in the State of Michigan.

I dunno how widespread it is but....it appears steps are being made.

Well, without knowing what's in the "study guide" I can't say whether this is a good thing or bad....

I wonder if we can get a copy....

If I get a copy at work I will be interested to see how well things are covered. Hopefully all get it and it is a detailed packet and not the cheap reference guides that we usually get with not much info.

If any MGO members that are LEOs can get a copy I would love to see it.

It looks kinda like a handout for MSU extension classes with info on left side of pages and then lines for notes.

One would think that with that format....it was designed to be covered by an instructor NOT just handed out at roll call.

But, some info is better than no info so....open carry info is making it to LE and that is a good thing isn't it?

PS Hey you opencarry dot org fans....BE SURE and tell them that you read about it here FIRST.

If it's accurate you bet it's a good thing. We will cite the source as DONE DEAL at MGO:smile:

No problem....I had the handout in my hand and wrote the web site address of a couple of sites on the cover for the LEO that was talking to me about it.

You know....just so they would be able to read up on things like recorders and such....

If nobody can get their hands on one....lemme know---the MGO will be able to help you out.
