Wow! bad experiance with goose eh?????
I'm new to goose hunting this year but have learned the only edible part of a wild goose is the breast. and the rest is coyote bait.
All that needs to be done is filet the breast meat off bird, Wrap breast slices with bacon and put it on the grill cook over open flame, cut into smaller pieces and dip in A-1 sauce.

I did goose jerky and took it into work . . I told my boss it was beef and he ate it like candy. He is not the outdoorsy type at all .. the look on his face was priceless when I told him that it was goose.

Goose jerky is awesome.
Just don't eat too much because the next day, close quarter work associates might not find it too amusing.
Also, kabobs aren't bad either. Cut up breasts, marinade in Coke and Italian dressing, wrap in bacon and build a kabob for grilling. Cook only until the bacon is done and you are good to go.
Works well with the less tasty divers too...
