Yes I know it was old news, thats why my post started with "Here are a couple of bulletins from the past", perhaps not all members have seen them. Cant blame me from trying to increase awareness. As you may have noticed, I am brand new to the site and have not had the opportunity or time to peruse all posts regarding open carry. In all honesty, I was unaware that open carry was legal in Michigan until I joined this site. Now that I know this, I am trying to do my part to increase both public and private awareness and perception. I do thank you for the link, it will make it easier for me to do my part in accomplishing this task. Kudos to you and whoever else set that up, it is a very good document.

Welcome and thank you. If you want to learn more about OC I recommend you spend some time at miopencarry.org many of your questions will be answered. And we always welcome people that want to learn more about lawful open carry.

Just be careful that you also familiarize yourself with the risks of open carry.
