Who got a good Deep fried turkey recipe???
I'm going to be doing a turkey next week looking for a good Recipe...

I've never tried it or eaten it. The other day I put a jake on the grill, though. Turned out good.

They came out GOOD I Deep fried 2 of them !!!!!!!!! I will be doing more ...

I'll probably try it sooner or later, but isn't it expensive to buy the peanut oil and such?

I used a Cajun marinade creole butter recipe and a Cajun shake (Thanks Mark L.) for the idea..

You can get cottonseed oil for $25 for 3gl you can use 4 or 5 times on other things too...

in my experience wild turkey does not deep fry good the meat is to lean.
the best way i've found to cook wild turkey is to rub with olive oil and slow smoke for about 4-5 hours at 140-160 deg.

Actually I found the trick. Because its lean and there is a lot less meat between the bone and the outer layer you have to shave abff pout 1 minute out pound in the deep fryer. It cooks much faster.
