If it brings women to the sport, its a very good thing. Of the new shooters am privileged to introduce to shooting, the pink guns always get their attention, especially in the middle of the black "scary" gun case.
I do wish the typical pink ones were more "beginner" friendly; a pink snubbie still fires like a snubbie, and so many still point female shooters in that direction.
A word of caution, though, gentlemen: before you buy a gal a pink gun, be sure she wants one. And which caliber, too!
Heaven help my honey if he tries it! -Well, I guess I COULD trade it in....
And also remember that not all women like pink. Some of us prefer camo and desert sand and OD green.

Just curious, why in the title did you include shoes?
Something I don't know here?
Last time I wore pink shoes was in the early '80's. And you? ;)

When I was looking with the Mrs to get her an M&P she saw the pink ones and stated, "If you get me that one the first round down the pipe will be in your arse"... Good thing I went with the basic black...

A wise move, sir!
My 6 year old really wants the pink Ruger 10/22.
My 6 year old son.....:? Course, he'd really prefer a big black shotgun, but just a wee thing for that yet.

Sounds like fun there!
Never could understand Crocs, though.
BTW, just teasing about the pink shoe thing.
I tease people who wear crocs... or earth shoes... unmercifully.

My mother made my dad make a rack that sits by the front door of there house. She make people take off thier street shoes and change into Crocs that are stored in the rack while they're at their house

Same here, she hasn't gone yet. but she did fondle a pink Taurus Millennium at Gander mountain last week.
Hoping to get her to the range next week.

My mom was wanting the pink 10/22, not because she likes pink, but so that my dad would not steal it.

My 15 year old nephew digs them too. I was a bit thrown off - he's a man's man, and a hellova hockey player... what would drive him to want a pink gun?
"Pink is the new black" he tells me. His motorcycle - accented in pink. Skateboard? Pink. I've seen several of his friends on the pink bandwagon too - so either the young males of Livingston county have gone silly, or it is now considered 'socially acceptable' in young men's circles of friends to be sporting pink weaponry.
Better than blaze-orange I suppose. But only slightly

Yep, seen it here on the SW.
As long as they don't start wearing lace too....!
I'd have to blush for them, then!
