9:30pm I was at the commerce walmart. They have mass quantities of federal 9mm and .40 S&W they had 1 or 2 of WWB. Guy behind the counter said that the .40 went up 1.50 I don't know if that happened a while ago or if that is with todays shipment. So night owls this is your chance to have ammo.

Thanx firespec35, I just got back from there, I went cuz of your post, I picked up a couple of boxes of .40 federal @ $13.97 a box, I had a in-store credit as well. so I got a real good deal. theres still a good 10 - 15 boxes availible as of 2AM.

They also had a couple of boxes of 9MM @ $9.97 a box, if I wasn't so strapped for cash @ the moment.. I would've bought a couple of boxes of those as well. :hick: :cheers:

I work at the Meijer just down Haggery ffrom this Walmart. Unfortunately, I don't stop in much to check their ammo, because its usually all gone. How is the supply of 9mm/.38spec/.357 lately? Do they still have 9mm less than $10 a 50rd box? Meijer has been wiped out of hese three calibers for months (I know, I have the receiving team looking for me so I can buy after work or when someone stocks it). We do have .40 s&w, for $17.99 I think.

How is the supply of 9mm/.38spec/.357 lately?It's a bit better than it was for a while. It's like most other WMs: If you check often, you'll eventually hit pay dirt. Depending on the phase of the moon and whether it's raining: You may find it in the morning or you may find it in the afternoon. There's really no telling. I have seen each of those three calibers at that store at one-time-or-another.

I haven't been in there in a while--probably a month or more. I've got enough to hold me for a while--esp. since I don't shoot that much. I almost stopped in on the way to work this morning to check on .45 ACP. Then I thought "Uh, it'll be about forever before you even get a pistol that'll shoot 'em and they're spendy as hell. What's the point? Leave it for somebody who can actually use it." and gave it a pass.
