That ammo is dipped in laquer and it has a tendence to gum up an AR after it gets warm.
I wouldn't reccommend the stuff:hurl:

excellent find! this stuff is great! Sure, you need to actually CLEAN your
bolt/carrier once in a while.... but shouldn't you do that anyway????

I shot about 5k rounds through one of my old M4s without cleaning it, not a problem.

I think a few of you are referring to Brown Bear Gun Shop in Chesterfield Twp.. This thread is about ammo named Brown Bear. Not the gun shop. The posts refer to George Isreal. He is a good guy to deal with, but that is not what this thread is about.
