I bought one, and it was junk. It is the same Korean one in the link. I loaded it with 20 rounds and let it sit for about an hour, and it cracked!

I am glad you said something. I was going to buy some but I changed my mind.

I also bought a Korean Glock 22 15rd magazine. I loaded it with 14 rounds and let it sit for about an hour. I tried to put it in my Glock, and it swelled up so bad from being loaded, that it wouldn't fit in my gun.

Closest I come to that capacity while maintaining 100% functionality and reliability is by buying a 15 rounder and then adding a Glock factory insert and +2 floor plate.

Can this be done in the Glock 27 or only the full model .40 cal?

You can use any larger capacity Glock .40 magazine in any smaller sized Glock .40 pistol (i.e. a 15 round Glock magazine with the Glock insert and +2 floorplate for a total of 17 rounds of .40 in one magazine will work in a Glock 27 just as a Glock 22 magazine will work in a 27 and just as a Glock 23 magazine will work in a 27). To really stay frosty you can run a Glock 33 round 9mm magazine in a Glock 26 if you so prefer.

I'll have to experiment a little I think. Although to keep the 27 looking flush and classy, I think I'll stick with the original 9 round mags, and the +2 extension.

Any good priced glock parts sites out there?

I do not carry 17 rounders - only for range and HD use. Extending the mag on the 27 kind of defeats its subcompact purpose.
