So, you want to know about a great, not just excellent but great, archery shop? This one is the best damn archery shop in Michigan. I know from experience.

I had the opportunity to advize Bluethunder to have his arrows fletched professionally by Jim Morrow of MJC Archery, Royal Oak, Michigan. Jim has a shop and range on Rochester Rd. which meets the needs of the bow hunter, 3-d enthusiest, and target archer. You want training, you see Chri Eder and Steve: you want a good deal of firearms from a dealer that offers good advise and service, you talk to Chris or Karcent. Jim Morrow is to archery what these men are to pistol training and acquisition. He got the name "Bow Daddy" from his friends and regular customers.

Jim specializes in Mathews bows but is knowledgeable in all things archery. He was Archer of the Year in Michigan and is a factory shooting pro shooter for Mathews. He gives private lessons and supports JOAD, as well as housing leagues in the winter months. See him. He's got what you need.

Don't complain about the drive. I'd travel an hour or two to get to a quality gun shop. You should do the same if you're an archer.

Is this where Starlight used to be? Or is that still there?

I shot at the other starlight on Rochester rd somewhere in that area back in the 70's. Guy by the name of Bruce ran the place.

Animal,

I believe Starlite had two shops. This one was next to a Church on Rochester Rd., and ,at the time, a dump! Jim remodeled the place and has expanded his inventory. The range is a little more narrow because of the expansion of his product line. Yes, I think it is where you shot.

Yes, Jim's place MJC archery is the old Starlite archery that was on rochester road.
Jim has put strings on my browning for 5 years, right before season opens.
And it shoots like nothing was even changed.
Last year he set me up with the MQ-1 excellent setup he had me shooting it like it was part of me in about six shots.
And buy some of those Bowhunter stickers, I need to get some more stuff from Jim this summer, and it makes a good trade.
