Crossbow question?

On page 8 of the "02" hunting and trapping guide (DNR) at the bottom of the page it says, "Crossbows are legal to use by a person 14 years of age or older during the Nov. 15 - 30 firearm deer season. " What exactly does this mean?

Basically, it says you can use the crossbow to hunt whitetail deer, but only in the firearm deer season(Nov 15- 30). The crossbow CANNOT be used during the archery season. Also you must be age 14 years or older to legally use the crossbow during the firearms deer season.
