If you aren't aware, MO has been trying to pass legislation for years now. This year, the House and Senate voted for CCW. But the Demoncrat governor vetoed the bill. Now, the House just voted to override the veto.

For anyone with family in Missouri, this has to be good news. There is only the Senate now and it appears it will be tough. But, let's hope it goes all the way.....
State by state, they are beginning to fall like bowling pins, to the pro-gun, pro-self defense good guys. I called their legislator this morning informing him I would NOT be spending any money in his state if CCW is not passed.

All right. Missouri just became the 36th Shall Issue state. Hot off the press.

Well, now we can go visit my wife's family as soon as grant reciprocity with MI.

Way to go Missouri residents.

Just saw on Free Republic that the Missouri Senate told their governor Bob Holden to take a hike and also overided his veto. :D

Additionally, we will have reciprocity with MO as soon as 30 days from now, as I am reading it. The bill calls for reciprocity with all states. Grrreaat news.

I believe that Missouri does not have a firearms preemtion law so I would expect St. Louis and other cities to begin bans on carry within their jurisdictions.
