It'll be interesting to see how this plays out in the News. Oh wait, the News will only cover it if it bleeds. Let's hope there are no headlines. (Think I should get my tongue out of my cheek before I bite it?)

It'll be interesting to see how this works. We all know that confrontation sure worked for gays, minorities, feminazis, etc

Different reports have different turn out numbers. Any where from 50 to over 100 depending on which report.

"I'd rather not have people like him packing heat," said Anti-gun protester Jacob Hand. "Guns don't make me feel safer. They make me uncomfortable. These people are violating my right to feel comfortable."
What a dumbass! Since when does anybody have a constitutional right to feel comfortable??

What I find particularly interesting is the most violent behavior came from the anti-gun counter-protestors.

Actually, that didn't surprise me in the least. liberals and demonrats can get away with whatever they want in the name of provocation. If a conservative lifts a finger in defense, then it's acting out the agression of the establishment.
Same sh!t, different state.

You are right, Kane. But please note I said it was interesting, not surprising.

The third page of USA Today on Monday, 29-Sep, showed a picture of a revolver on someone's hip with the caption "Packing Heat". They had about a paragraph written describing the peaceful protest.
Shoot straight,

I went to the Million Mom March in DC in 2000 (with the SAS to counter rally). Those pink-hat people were the most vicious, violent people I've ever seen. Men and women pushing strollers and looking right at our children, telling us they hoped our kids died and screaming obsenities at us. I only know of one person who was arrested, and he was a skinhead-looking guy from their side who kept shouting at us about being borguise and calling us killers.
Things sure don't change much.

I had heard tell of those happenings in DC. I believe i did read about it on the 2A sisters web site. Isn't it particularly telling about the true mindset and agenda of the gun prohibitionists!
