I'm looking for a new ISP.

Has anybody got any comments (pro or con) on NetZero? I am planning on the "Platinum" version (eliminates the banners of the free version) for $10 / month.

Are they Pro or anti? I have not found any info either way.

Thanks in advance. :D

What cable company do you use? I have Wide Open West and they offer a 120K cable connection for about $14 on top of what my cable bill already was. For $46/month I have basic cable and internet.
Another ISP to look at is Mercury Network. They have a metered dial-up for $10/month or unlimited with 5 e-mail accounts for $15. www.tm.net I used 'em for a couple years and NEVER had a problem. As dependable as they come.

I've had half-a-dozen dialup ISP's, and the absolute best one (which I still have) is PeoplePC. They have more phone numbers nationwide than anyone, except perhaps AOL (ack, ptui), and seem to be blessed with less than the normal accumulation of idiots. I've had zero problems with them in 3+ years. Their rates are about $11/month with no contract and about $10/month with a contract. I have no idea of their political leanings -- I haven't asked them and they haven't told me.

I like Rovin Net (http://www.Rovin.net)

Rovin Net fully supports the Stop Carnivore Project
