BUDWEISER COMES DOWN HARD IN FAVOR OF CCW! WAIT TILL YOU READ THIS!
I am about to ask you to drink more beer. Now bear with me, I have my reasons and I think you just might agree.
We always encourage boycotts of companies that turn on us. Like K-Mart did.
NOW HOLD THE PRESSES! READ ON....
The King of Beers says it is withdrawing support from Missouri Gov. Bob Holden over his veto of CCW in that state! Anheuser-Bush contribued $50K to his campaign for Governor in 2000. I wonder what they will spend to give him the boot?!
What can we do to reward Anheuser-Busch? I suggest the following would be fair:
1) Order their products when out an about. Tell the waitperson you are buying Budweiser because of their stand in favor of good citizens being allowed to be armed for self defense and the defense of others. Remember they make O'Doul's which has no alcohol. We are not asking anyone to become a drinker, just a DEFENDER OF LIBERTY!
2) You can always reach Anheuser-Busch by phone at 1-800-DIAL-BUD (1-800-342-5283) between the hours of: 7am-12am CST Monday - Saturday or 12pm-12am CST on Sunday and tell them you support their chairman and his stand on CCW!
3) Email Anheuser-Busch at http://contactus.anheuser-busch.com/contactus/talktous.asp Make sure to leave block checked that let's them use your input for marketing purposes.
You can bet the Anti-s are going to threaten to boycott. HAH! They drink foo-foo drinks, not BEER! If we can show an increase in sales because a company comes down on the side of freedom, then more companies will follow. We have taught a few companies to fear us, now let's show corporate America our other side. Our Generous Spirit. Our Love Of Liberty. Show Anheuser-Busch the MONEY!
For some real fun we note that anti-gunner "Rev" Jesse Jackson's sons own River North Distributors of Budweiser. Will they boycott their own business?
Lastly you must be on other lists so pass this around, post it to newsgroups. Get the word out.
THANK YOU AUGUST A. BUSCH III !!!!

Busch Beer Pulls Campaign Support Over Concealed Weapons
10/8/2003
Anheuser-Busch Cos. Inc. will no longer support Missouri Gov. Bob Holden because of his refusal to back a concealed weapons bill, the St Louis Post-Dispatch reported Oct. 1.
The brewer, an influential corporate player in Missouri politics, said it would not back Holden in his re-election bid next year after he vetoed the concealed weapons bill last summer.
The measure, which goes into effect Oct. 11 following the override of Holden's veto by the state legislature, would allow residents to carry concealed weapons.
One political source said that Anheuser-Busch Cos. Chairman August A. Busch III is a devoted sportsman who has strong concerns about personal security.
In Holden's 2000 campaign, Anheuser-Busch contributed at least $50,000.
State Auditor Claire McCaskill, the Democrat running against Holden, didn't support the bill, but has since said she would 'work to make sure the restrictions in the new law are enforced.'
