Looks like a single misdemeanor count of possession of an unlicensed handgun has been charged against former Chief Oliver.

Anotherwords: he had his hand slapped. Instead of charging him with a felony for illegal conceal carry, Duggan states he was not seen carrying the bag and therefore was not carrying concealed. A licensed LEO carried his bags in for him to the check in according to Duggan. Wow , he really had to think this out. Now how can I charge the ex Chief with a minor offense which he'll get a hand slap for and yet show "professional courtesy" for a policitco bud and figure out some goofy explanation of why Oliver wasn't seen carrying concealed? I think several calls to Mike Cox are in order. This is an example of Vintage Duggan. Remember when Duggan got a 30 day sentence for sex offender Pedaphile priest Burkholder. Burkholder was 86 years old and Duggan said 30 days is like 3 years for a sick 86 year old from Hawai. I guess a hand slap for a lying politco out of work bud is on par with the Burkholder sentence

The same thing should be done to him, as would happen to anyone else on this board if we did the same thing he did, put a loaded gun on an airplane. If he committed a felony, then he should lose his right to own and carry guns the rest of his life, as would happen to anyone else.

DIDn't the new state law include having someone else "place" a gun on the plane for you?
