The story says a gunman robbed the store, and then shot the clerk in the back before running away.

Evidently, the gunman was absent for the "dont shoot them if you get what you want" lecture at bad-guy school.

Another example of why it is better to resist then to just comply and give the scum of the earth what they want. they will just harm you anyways.

This party store is only 5 blocks from my home. My son called to ask if I knew what happened because he saw the road closed off and police everywhere....and my employer expects me to leave my apartment at 11pm to come to work without arming myself for the commute. Go Blue! Go figure!

Felice Clark of Ypsilanti, who lives three houses from the store, watched the police cars nervously from her home Tuesday night. She said she is beginning to feel unsafe in the neighborhood and is planning to move.
