Need a place to Pheasant Hunt

Does anyone know of a place within an hour or so from Livonia where there is a decent chance of Pheasant hunting? My daughters boyfriend has been itching to go and asked me to go with him.... He just finished his Hunters Safety Class.....and no ...he has no idea where to go either.

Oh yea..... What size shot?

Now the kicker..... We are going tomorrow morning (Saturday)..... SOMEWHERE..........

Waterloo rec area has some birds. Flushed a few there

Talk to some folk as they will point you to the good fields. Other then that the rec area by Adrian or Sharonville out by Jackson.

I will be guiding hunts at the Dundee pheasant farm the next few weeknds. Always have birds there :)

If you don't mind spending too much money there is farmland pheasants way up north on Van Dyke???? Only been up there one time. Cost about 85 bucks for 4 birds each. May not be real hunting, but it was fun.

85 for 5 roosters at Dundee Pheasant Farm
50 for 5 mixed ( or maybe that was 5 hens )

I guide down there as well. Not a very big place but could not be a nicer bunch of people. Plus side is right near Cabelas so a lil shopping to go with your hunt :)

Tell them I sent ya (Mark). They have been very supportive of us with the MGO - MUCC MIchigan out of Doors hunt as well.
