Vote Draws Near On Bill (S. 659/S. 1806) To Stop
Frivolous Lawsuits Against Firearms Industry
Since 1998, dozens of municipalities and cities have filed suit against America's firearms industry, falsely alleging that it is responsible for the unforseen acts of criminals. Fortunately, 33 states and the U.S. House of Representatives have passed legislation to prohibit these reckless lawsuits aimed at bankrupting U.S. firearms and ammunition manufacturers.
Unfortunately, the U.S. Senate has not yet followed suit, and Americans remain one anti-gun judge or one anti-gun jury away from seeing the firearms industry destroyed.
