"Law enforcement has shown that it has reduced the use of these weapons in crime, so my words pale in significance to the law officers of the four corners of the commonwealth of Virginia," Warner said.

What a bunch of :bs: !!

So the fact that every private and government organization who has researched it has found that it did NO GOOD whatsoever means little or nothing to this joker.

The AWB and Gun show bans passed 52-47 and 53-46 on a mostly party line vote. Carl Lenin and Debbie Stabmenow voted anti-freedom on BOTH measures.

This was a party line vote for the most part.

Dems who voted NO on AWB are
Baucus, Miller, Feingold, Landrieu, Ben Nelson, Reid.

RINOs who voted YES on AWB are
Chafee, Collins. DeWine, Fitzgerald, Gregg, Lugar, Smith, Snowe, Voinovich, Warner

Dems voting NO on gun show ban are
Baucus, Miller, Nelson,

RINO's voting YES on Gun show ban are
Chafee, DeWine, Fitzgerald, Hagel, Lugar, McCain, Voinovich, Warner

Tim Johnson of South Dakota did not vote on either.

Once again - Lenin and Stabusall are bad for freedom.

BTW - Five things can happen. Four of them good.

The bill could be voted down overall.

This could go to conference committee and and bad parts die there.

This could go to conference committee, and a compromise bill with either AWB, gun show ban, or both coming out of there back to the house, and bad stuff is voted out there.

The bad stuff happens, Bush vetos it.

The bad stuff passes, and Bush signs it.
