How to mark magazines to identify them?

I think I am having an FTF problem on only 1 of my 3 Para Ordinance magaines, but it's hard to tell. They look identical, and I rotated them without concern until I realized the problem today.

Aside from permanently scratching the the mag, is there a popular way to identify each magazine? From past esperience, marker wears off.

Only on the 3rd trip to the range did I notice as issue. It's entirely possible, tme mag never got used until that time.

There's an easy fix identified on the 1911 forum (Wolffe Springs), but I would like to isolate that magazine if possible.

I use paint markers. They are available at craft stores. They are great for marking all kinds of stuff. I put a stripe ot a amall dot in areas that don't wear.

Hockey tape on the mag bottom plate works good too.
