I applied for renewal on 5/18/04. On 6/24/2004, received post card telling me to show up July 8th to pick up permit. With mail time, thats only 5 weeks for renewal! "Isn't life grand"!!!

Very good to hear. Although it does not effect me directly, it shows what a gun board, ran correctly, can do.

Being in Bay County and up for renewal soon; what are the procedures here?

1: Stop by Sheriff's department, pic up renewal kit.
2: Fill out application
3: Go Clerks office turn in application, Do NOT sign application until you are in front of the clerk! Pay $105
3 Take fingerprint card Sheriff's office, get prints done.
4: Sit and wait patiently until the mailman brings your notification.
