I just received an e mail from the MI Gop asking for help getting Nader on the ballot. The Dems are trying to stop him from running because from the latest Det News poll he might take 4% of the vote. If you would like to get a petition call one of the GOP victory centers or go to the GOP website and download a copy. The Victory center in Dearborn will have some sat and I will be getting some so if you want one reply and I will get extras. I'm in S Redford vicinity W Chicago and Telegraph. This would do much harm where harm is needed. I love it!!!!!

I took one to work and have it half filled as of this morning
GO Nader ( HeHeHe)
I have petitions as well. Howell area.
And as for the dems whining, T.S.
If Kerry can't win because of Nader, it is because he didn't earn enough votes. If the GOP doesn't win because of the LP candidate, same thing.
No one is entitled to a vote.

Not to mention the Democrats that voted for Bush because they didn't like Gore.

I seem to recall, that Nader is/was both anti-car, and anti-gun. I really havent listened to him lately(for the last 20 or 30 years) but the last time I heard him talk, he didnt even have a drivers license, and he also wanted handguns outlawed(circa 1970).
In principle, I really dont think anyone who wants to own a car and/or a gun should support him in ANY way, or try to help an anti-car anti-gun candidate even be on any ballot - regardless of your "tactical" reasons for trying to do so.
Frankly, I really dont think it is healthy to see the name of anyone like that on any ballot.

Why dont you also start petition drives to get Hillary Clinton, teddy kennedy, al gore.
A few years ago, a bunch of people used that same logic to get a wrestler on their ballot, and ended up with Jessie Ventura as their governor dancing with Hillary Clinton.
John Tyler was put into the vice presidency to keep him from being president, and it also backfired.
Some people also thought that it was a good idea at the time to get Adolf Hitler on the ballot and that getting him on the ballot would help germany -Hitler ended up getting elected, but it is debatable that getting Hitler on
the ballot in the 1930's actually helped germany in the long run.
If you work to get Nader on the ballot, you might you get your wish and that Nader ends up as your president. If bush has a heart attack in september, and something also happens to kerry, it is not totally inconcievable that nader could end up with the most votes.
There used to be a time when all candidates on the presidential ballot were gun owners, but now you are trying to acclimate a generation of new voters getting used to seeing anti-gun candidates on the presidential ballot.
