so your solution to spending 50 bucks is to remove the firing pin block from the gun...

just spend the money, and please do not recommend this.
its a new sear and safety lever its VERY VERY easy to install....

    Thanks for your concern

Everything I've read about the SRT kits, is that it adds creep, grunge, whatever you like to call it, to the trigger. This removes grunge, and resets quicker than any plastic gun you dislike. Not quite 1911 good, but you dont like them either, cause the good ones dont had FP blocks.(unsafe)
I never said i am afraid of guns sans fp block.

I am very much however, ANTI taking parts that are part of the design of the gun out and calling that an improvement.
thats not an improvement at all.

if all you did was remove factory parts, that is not an improvement in my opinion.
if you made a thread saying you removed them,
found out how to put somethin back in their place so the gun is still somewhat close to how it was meant to be i would consider that an improvement.
taking that out and calling it an improvement is like using the tension screw on the smith and wesson k &N frames as a trigger job.

just my 2 cents, it may feel great but for it to be an actual improvement you need more than 100 rounds and need to know that it will not adversely affect the gun before selling it as such.
