    That is because they believe that they are not subject to these laws. AND! Once they show their retired LEO ID, who is going to bust them for something so "petty".

    Retirees with valid LEOSA credentials are already exempt anyway. They just have to maintain their LEOSA credentials by passing the annual qualification drill, which is not hard. I've done it.
