    It is the Second Amendment

    It is the Second Amendment

Guns are a right bestowed upon Americans by the Constitution. This right has been upheld for centuries. The Second Amendment states, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

Weapons are the main defense that average civilians have, and if the firearms are taken away then there will be no defense when it comes to armed robbery or attempts on their life.

If there are restrictions on guns in America, it will infringe on the capable militia of the American people.

As America values independence and freedom, there is a necessity to have a defense of private property from any invasion of combatants both foreign and domestic. There is a necessity to protect ourselves from government intervention into overstepping their boundaries.

It is not bestowed upon us. It is acknowledged as a God-given right to protect ourselves from ALL enemies.

    Amen!
No clause in the constitution could by any rule of construction be conceived to give congress a power to disarm the people. Such a flagitious attempt could only be made under some general pretence by a state legislature. But if in any blind pursuit of inordinate power, either should attempt it, this amendment may be appealed to as a restraint on both.
