    Deer processing, Macomb co.

The guy who has been butchering my deer no longer does it . Looking for recommendations close to sterling heights or gladwin. I know about butcher boy in Warren. Would prefer not to go there.

Don't know if it's an option for you but I started processing my own this year. Had a butcher buddy show me the ropes on my two deer last year and so far have processed two does this season. All I do is burger, backstraps and roasts. It's really easy and turned into a family activity. My wife helps, and my boys (2+4yo) are with us the whole time.
I don't blame anybody who doesn't wanna do it tho.

    I run

Ask pkuptruck for a copy of the tape I gave him. It a butchers way of processing a deer. Excellent instructional tape. He makes sausage and shows how to cut the rolled roasts and every cut in between!
