    Well, my whole argument is that people with criminal convictions are getting guns anyway and committing crimes even with all the gun control. But what about the reformed "ex-con" who just wants to move on with their life and use firearms for legitimate and lawful purposes? All gun control does is disenfranchise that segment of the population. Another part of the problem is too many "crimes" being arbitrarily classified as felonies, especially some of the non-violent ones.

    Do you want some 75 year old lady to be able to buy a GUN after she wrote a bad check 50 years ago???????
