What is the value of a Beretta 9000s? Anyone have one? likes or dislikes?

The reason for this post is I picked up a Milt Sparks Versa Max II out of the used holsters bid at the local gun shop for $12. This holster is NICE!! Its also made for a 9000s so I thought I might try to track 1 down.

I've bought two 9000s over the last couple years, sold one of them, missed it and replaced it. Paid $350 for them used. They're around. Nice pistol, the grip is a little "fat" on them, but otherwise pretty good shooters.

I bought one from a member on here for $ 300....In nov,Which turned out to be a real good buy i have seen them for as much as $500 , Nice gun 40.cal,10 rd clips, shoots very nice it is a little thick but fills my hand nice, My only carry gun at this time, I use a uncle mikes owb. I need a better holster!! I am interested in that holster if you want to sell!!!..

" Milt Sparks Versa Max II" Very nice holster I paid $150 for mine and 19 weeks wait.
I would recommend shooting the 9000S before buying it.
It's the red headed step child of the Beretta pistols either you love it or you hate it.
The handle is wide. 9mm you get 13 rounds or you can use the 92 mags with the spacer for 17 rounds. The 40sw you get 10 rounds and if you use the 96 mag with the spacer you may get 11 or 13 depending on the magazine.
I thought the 40sw has a sharp (snappy) recoil to it.The 9mm is much better.

Give a look over at the Beretta http://berettaforum.net there is lots of information on the 9000s. I just sold mine last year to fund my AR. but i would get another one in 9mm if the deal was right.
