I have a Swedish Mauser M38. Made by Husqvarna. The year is I believe 1943. Very nice condition. Bore looks great. Shoots nicely. I have the bayonet. Does anyone know what the value of that gun is? I am looking to maybe sell it…

Few questions: All matching numbers? End of barrel threaded? Import marked? Stock disk present? Looking at Gunbroker, range about $250 to $400.

You should be at the high end of the scale- if you find a collector who is interested. Import mark likely at end of barrel, under the cleaning rod.

Lots of info on the stock disc. If you've not seen it, check here:

The disk information, assuming the stock can be matched to the barrel, is valuable concerning the bore condition and as to which cartridge the sights are regulated.

When the serial numbers don't match, I don't think the disk info means anything.

The numbers on my M38 don't match, but it's still a darn fine rifle. I paid about $300 for mine a couple of years ago and got ammo and brass with it.
