Dialing the bow in and get this on my second group at 30 yards. First time I've done this:

Hey Robin, We need to see you shoot the apple on top of head thing.

There's nothing quite like the sound that it makes when tubing a shaft!

I've done it 3 times in 30 years. My daughter has done it 10 or more times.

When we used to shoot indoor competition we used to aim for the other guys nock because you were only allowed so many arrows for the competition. Hit his nock and damage it and he was one arrow short.

Yeah, it happens. I seem to ruin at least one arrow a year, sometimes two depending on how bad they're wedged.

All of my life I've been waiting for the perfect one though. The one that splits the arrow lengthwise. Not even sure if it's possible with field tips or not.

Robin Hood's are cool, but cost $$ with those expensive carbon arrows.

I had one 3 years ago and first I was jumping for joy, then I was thinking about wasting an expensive arrow.

Is this with the bow I sold you last year near Dicks? If so, I have pictures of the first buck I took with that. I should find them.

It has never missed a deer yet... please keep the tradition going!

Did 3 this year...switched from an Apex sight to a Spot Hogg Hogg It, and all of a sudden I started shooting phenomenally better.

They're huge down here (and are everywhere, I see them along the sides of 6 lane highways just outside of downtown CLE). I don't have an OH license or land to hunt down here yet, but I'm still trying. Still chasing the MI bambi's for now...

Are you working on Sunday? I may stop in for a tune up.

no, i actually get a couple of days off now and then. what bow are you shooting now? depending on what im doing sunday, i could probably stop in and do it while you are there. give me a call if you plan to come up.

i dont know a ton about OH, but from what i hear, Woodbury Game Area has an absolute ton of big deer, you just gotta work for them. doesnt look to be too far from cleveland. we had plans to get down there a few years ago to hunt it, but it never panned out. ill see if i can dig up my notes on the area.

Shooting the same Martin you set up for me last year.

I put a new rest on it and am trying to walk-back tune it with some difficulty. I can get it dialed in at 20, but it's off to right at 30 and off to the left at 10. I'm sure something isn't square.

If you want to meet up sometime in the morning that would be cool. I don't think I still have your number, call me at the number in my sig if you wanna chat.

Thanks dude.

Make sure the arrows are the correct spine for your setup and check the center shot on your rest.

Have you paper tuned your setup to insure the arrows are flying out straight?

Tom Fineis

Release. I think my arrow spine isn't correct. I decided to dial my weight up a bit and haven't had good results since. I'm going to set it back where it was and try from there.

Been a long time since I shot a bow. I had a McPherson Eliminator damn thing was smoking fast but hard to keep quiet. If I remember right. Used to shoot 70# 31" 2219's XX75s 4in 4* fletch with a Fletch Hunter release ran thur a BoDoodle with Razorbak 4s or 5s that free spun.
I know one thing. I never had a problem passing thur!!!

I was in Jellyco Tenn hunting hogs and got chased up a tree by a big 400lb boar. Damn thing finally walked away about 40 yds. I got down and then it looked back at me and came running. I hit the ******* right between the eyes at about 15yds. Drove that Easton straight through that pigs head and chest. Dropped his ***** right on the spot ***** over apple cart.

Of course then I had to change my britches....scariest hunt I was ever on man...
Them pigs don't mess around!!!
The hair on my neck still raises every time I think about that hunt.

I have split 2 arrows in the last 2 years since I have had my bear truth, man I love that bow....

I have already ruined 3 bolts with my new crossbow but have yet to split any...
