roughly how long have people waited for oakland county cpl approvals?

It used to be about 4 weeks.

Apparently it may be longer now.

As of July, when I renewed, it was about 5 weeks. But there rmay be an increase in renewals now, as a lot of permit holders are up for renewal. Let us know.

It took me 2 months, I got my new permit exactly 1 week before my old one expired

Mine expired 11/2/04 - I renewed 10/05/04 and still have heard nothing. When you call the clerks office they are clueless as to status of the CPL. From what they are telling me it could be another month !

Welcome to the neighborhood, dman! You may of got caught in the surge of renewals from folks who First applied when the law ,PA381, went into effect.

I was told two to four months, but I recieved mine in about 6 weeks (that was this past spring).
