What would you think is a fair price for a new never shot Remington 870 cantilevered scope mount slug barrel?

I bought an 870 Deer/Turkey combo back in 2005 and got it all setup for turkey. I am thinking now I would like to leave it as a dedicated turkey gun and get a Savage 220F or H&R Ultra Slugger in 20ga as dedicated deer slug gun.

So... I may be looking to sell the barrel only. It has been properly cleaned, oiled and stored in my safe. It has never been shot, but I did put it on the shotgun once just to see how it worked.

Any and all advice welcome. Thanks!

New I think they are 300+, I bought one last year used slightly for 200.

Sheesh , to me It's a no brainer to sell a barrel & buy a gun... I was on the fence looking to buy a barrel or buy an H&R slugger.... After seeing what your barrel is worth & the price of a new H&R I know I made the right decision with my $179 H&R slugger(@ gander mountain Grand Rapids 2 days ago) ..... even if you sell the barrel for $200 thats enought to buy another gun !
I guess my H&R is a gander exclusive that came with a factory mounted scope base..... I'll be touching it off later today !

I was going to buy a barrel for my Mossy, and when it was explained for a little more that I could buy another gun... I bought the gun which is very different from the Mossy (SD gun with a 18 1/2' BARREL)

Some people want guns, others prefer quality guns.

Are you saying H&Rs and Savage aren't quality?

I would keep the barrel and use the 870 myself.

You won't be able to sell the barrel for enough to buy a gun as good as the 870.

Just my opinion YMMV
