Everyone, even non-forum members... Bring friends or family. They are great for introducing new or non-shooters into the sport. Most people freely share their toys so it is a great way to try out various platforms!

I assume that any rifle ammo must still be purchased from Top Gun?

Also only lead shot for shotguns.

I shoot at Top Gun 1 to 3 times a week for the last 6 mouths
every time I bring my SKS I have to use there ammo.

When I shoot my .22lr Rife I can use my ammo. I think if Your rife is a
9mm or 45 or any other pistol round You can shoot Your ammo.

No problem just drop off your guns and plenty of ammo and they can visit with our guns for you, after the shoot we will drop them off at home for you, do they have to be home by a certain time? It’s not a school night!

J/K come on out say hello, I wish more people would think like that, instead of staying home and if you know someone new to guns bring them out just to see what it is all about.

J/K chances are very good their will be more then one, and probably some with Dougwg’s sear installed which you really need to try out if you are looking into the M&P line.

So what will people be bringing? I pulled out one of my last boxes of UMC 10mm in hopes of Shyster's Delta.

PM'd Jim Sig and am bringing my Sig 239 in 40 (can bring the .357Sig barrel and mags if someone has ammo).

I would like to try a M&P (I hear these new rubbermade guns are okay).

Should this be a separate thread?

Wilson Combat 1911 .45

HK P30 9mm

My other 1911s are sitting in Marianne's shop presently :(

If someone wants to try one out no problem but BYOA. I stopped by Top Gun last week and they only had a couple of boxes of 10mm on the shelf (Remingtons at $26.99/50 IIRC).

Thanks to everyone who made it out tonight. We had more than 40 people show up, some getting there as late as 8 PM but no worries. Great turnout, lots of new people, lots of people at their first MGO event, several new shooters as well. A couple new MGO members, too, from what I hear. Lots of guns from small to big, rifles, etc. I didn't see or hear any shotguns, though. Maybe next time! ;)

Thanks to Ed for making the arrangements and to Nick for handling the books. Thanks also to everyone that came a long distance and/or came out after a long day at work. Extra thanks to Top Gun for the smooth event and for being so accommodating with the paperwork, safety gear and the discount on ammo and accessories.

Thank You all for coming out to make this a great event! Thanks to Top Gun, ED, Nick and big thanks to Johnzilla for working the firing line, I don’t think he even got to do any shooting!

Great to see familiar faces again, You know who you are, I don’t have to name names and happy to see new so many new people!

In my best Russell Crow “Gladiator “ voice “Were you not entertained?”

Talk it up people lets keep up the attendance up for MGO events, I am going to guess 40 people and at least 3 times the number of guns, minimum were there.

I wish there was more time to talk with fellow MGO people at these events; maybe we need to set up an informal spot to meet after the event for coffee or something, no alcohol, and carry friendly.

This is what MGO events are all about getting to meet fellow MGO members FTF.

It was a good time. Met a couple new people (for a minute). It was crowdy, lol. Couple people shot my .45 carbine, .44 mag, and .357.mag among others. Even got Granny shooting them. Sorting some brass tomorrow, then into the tumbler. Get them ready to go bang again.

Looking forward to playing with Chewys' toys on the 6th.

It was awsome.. Was my first MGO event. I met some members and I have now faces for some screen names. The nice thing is that one get to see other people sharing the same interests and values. I had some members try my FNP 45, HK USP 40 and Ruger GP100.. And I had the opportunity to shoot and XD9, a SIG p239 40, a very cool Beretta 22 cal (thanks John), an LCR 380 and a Glock 19... Thanks to all who shared their guns and ammo. And thanks for the hard working members that put this event together.

One last comment is that i was impressed with the safety practice that all members showed. The shooting lanes were packed and everybody practiced safety, it was like a ballet dance with guns. I had to leave around 8:20 for a family event, but I enjoyed every minute of the event.

Looking forward for the next event.

Oh yeah, Big thanks to everyone who let me have a try of their toys. I'm sure I will forget and miss some people but: Shyster (I know that dude), Bulletproof, The guy I shared a lane with that let me try his XD,Jim Sig (thanks a lot for bringing the Ruger, another one to add to the want list).

I tried to let MGOers shoot my guys too, I shared. I do apologize if I came off as rude to anyone, but couldn't hear with the muffs on and the bangs going.

Shystet and Bulletproof, you guys suck;) . Way to many toys added to the want list, thanks guys the wife will love that. :shake:

Anyone know where I can get a colt Delta reasonable/cheap?

Looks like everyone had a great and safe time. I had planned on stopping by for a little while, but my previously planned event had a start time change (due to my lovely Blonde wife) and I wasn't able to make it.
I was looking forward to meeting everyone and will for sure make the next one.
I AM NOW IN CHARGE OF EVENT PLANNING AT MY HOUSE ;-) :hang:

Sure you are... LOL

My Daughter and I had fun. The wife wasn't feeling too well so she didn't shoot, but she did get to chase my red nosed son around the shop... The little trouble maker painted something with nail polish right before we left, so I left the spot on his nose...

Thanks to those that let me try your toys, I hope everyone had fun with my compacts, more than a few people got to shoot those.

Crap, this would have been nice. I just got back from 2 weeks up at my northern property and my wife fell and broke her leg. She's now total care, so this is the first I'm even hearing of this. Hopefully, if there's ever another one, her leg will have healed and I can attend.
