If you're looking for a place to shoot, Huron Pointe Sportsman's Association (http://www.huronpointe.org) is open to the public. The Rifle/Pistol range is open on 11-December and 18-December. Last Saturday, I worked the range and we had a good showing of black powder shooters.

Stop by. The cost is $10 to shoot + a $1 environmental fee. Feel free to bring your own targets to staple up to the free-standing stands, and shoot as much as you want. Huron Pointe is located on 28 Mile, 1 mile east of Gratiot between Gratiot and County Line roads in northern Macomb County.

Someone came up with the idea that the club would put some $ away for when years from now someone builds near the property and then tries to shut us down for having lead on the land, etc.. This will allow us to do a cleanup and keep the ranges going for our grandkids and their grandkids.

Is there any restrictions on magazines or is this a "one-shot" at a time type range? I prefer ranges that let me use my 30 rd mags :D

The only restriction would be if you don't safely control your firearm. It needs to be pointed downrage at all times and the baffle boards and poles must not be shot.

$20 to site in a rifle. Box of 30 30 shells $15 @ Cabelas. Too much IMO. Bald Mtn is $15. Should both be $10. Actually should charge per round. I would gladly pay $1.00 per round. Most of the time I shoot less than 10 rounds with rifle.
