I built this with a lightweight barreled flat top upper I picked up at the "dome" and a Stag lower from Karcent.

Picture wouldn't fit, but with a Calvary Arms lower, it weighed 5 pounds with aimpoint!

very nice, and 5lbs!! wow 8)

now you got me thinking I want a spray & pray.

Mine weighs much more than that but its a 24" stainless heavy barel for long distance with scope & bi-pod.

A 16" shorty would be nice!!

Nice gun, Greg. What optics you got on that?

Aimpoint dot, no magnification.

Lighter, faster and less muzzle blast, but still me on the trigger.

I put the Rock River NM trigger in it too. Sweet.

Oh, and it weighs 12 pounds with a loaded mag!

Sprink: very nice-----------you know its amazing how many people film their guns on a bed----------she must keep you warm at night. My wife won't allow my VEPR k in or on the bed :( . As far as weight the VEPR weighs about 10 pounds with 30 rounds and a red dot. Its heavy but the weight and barrel brake make it very gentle to shoot. Follow up shots are fast when the gun doesn't buck like a bronco. Sprink save your $ and get a tactical guard with picatanny rails and load it up with a grip and a surefire light. Pump it up and increase the WOW factor!!!!! :D

I got a kit for Christmas and it was pretty easy to put the lower together.

Nice job Greg

A few places have them, CDNN, Top Glock(?) etc. But the are about $260, and are on back order, I know this from experience. But the cool factor is way up there. Besides, I reckon it will make Sarah Brady have night sweats

Well..... .....aaaah.....depends.
Upper $300, lower $100, lower parts kit $55, stock $30 to $250.....

I got removable tactical handle $150?, so my upper was really about 450. (A2 upper is only $300).

You can build a basic A2 for about $500. Flat top with no rear sight about the same.
