Looks like a great excuse to get to play with toys & spend even more money on fishing... "But baby, all the boys have a remote control speedboat!.... It's cheaper than a new Bass Boat!"

It would be cool if the boat was actually towing a hooked line so you can fish with it and tow the caught fish in :D

I don't see the problem with people using tech that has recently become cheap enough, in whatever hobby they like. Some of the purpose built innovation is pretty damn cool.
