They were getting a few in Flat Rock at the Dam on the Huron River.

Wish I knew where to fish it it's closer to home. Have never been there.
Does anyone know the area and be willing to give some advice?

I hear they are hot up on the Betsie. A bit of a drive but 4 hours for a 10 pound steely is worth it-from a guy that has never caught one.

Made it up north, hit Big Manistee and Betsie did good on both. Picked up more bowns on Manistee than steelies but they tasted good on grill. Limited on Betsie in about three hours. Hope to get another little warm spell and make another trip. But now its getting time to go coyote hunting.
