Value for sale on MGO ? I have going up for sale: 4" compact, Alum. frame (25 oz. with mag.) , all dark blue, black factory grips with * Star logo. Probably 98 to 95% condition, out to range twice, the rest of the time a safe resident. Less than 100 rounds fired no problems. Have original manual, plastic box with small screw driver tool for servicing gun.
Whats fair value as pkg.: Also 500 rounds Georgia Arms FMJ reloads in plastic ammo boxes, Uncle Mike's shoulder holster, extra mag, 2 bore brushes, & swab. Thanks

The Star PD has somewhat of a cult following. To a member of that cult, your PD with box, manual, and extra mag (assuming factory) is probably a $400 package. However, on MGO you aren't likely to get that much with all the plastic .45s available for the same or less. Sell the ammo separately to recoup your cost.

BBGV is out of date the day it hits the shelves. Useful only as a rough guide. Closest on Gunbroker, with manual and box, but only one mag (no holster or ammo) went for $375 and $25 shipping (purchased with "buy it now").

Thanks for the info. guys.

Less sales potential here in Mi. with the way the economy is , so I don't expect as much as Gun Broker. No one interested so far..

I'd be interested if I had the extra cash. Good luck though.

Gun broker is great, who wants to give me $1200 for my Winchester 9422 22magnum? $3000-$4500 for my Colt diamondback?

I use BBGV as a base. Not all guns appreciate each year. Some go down.

A Star 45ACP sold on this sight a few months ago for $225-250. That seemed to follow the BBGV.

Thanks for the input ...... again the gun has only slight usage, basically just test firing to confirm function.

I have a few inquiries , asking for pictures. I responded with a U tube address with statement that was same model gun, not mine in video.
Then I finally got pictures posted . All within 12-24 hours. I sent the PMs with confirmation ... 36 - 48 hours later this is status.
Unconfirmed Private Message Receipts (3)

Can the PMs be viewed without confirmation notice, or does no confirmation mean the persons just delete my PM and do not read it ??

This has happened before, I sent a " I will buy it " within 8 hours of a ammo listing then twice more in the following 24 hours and no confirmation or response ?
