Where would be a good place to pick up a nice safe locally, looking for best deals

Since you don't define "locally" and have chosen not to put your location on your profile it may be hard to get a good response.

That being said, Able Safe in Warren has decent prices and FANTASTIC delivery and customer service.

Sometimes Costco and Sams have decent ones....
You better have a buddy with a truck though....

If you are looking for a home safe.. one bit of advice.. Get a safe that holds more guns than what you own NOW.....

And if a manufacturer says it will hold 64, it will probably hold 48 comfortably.

+1 for Able Safe in Warren. I would buy from them again.

And +100 for "buy a bigger safe than you think you need". All of the numbers used by manufacturers for how many guns a safe can hold are bogus. It is more like half or even less. If they say "holds 30 guns" it will be more like 15-18 in my experience.

Once you have a safe you'll also end up putting other stuff besides guns in there. Electronics, binoculars, scopes, laptops, hard drives, important papers, etc. All of that eats up room so definitely get the biggest safe you can afford.

And make sure you mount it correctly! It does no good to fill it with valuables if it can just be lifted up and carted away.

My buddy bought a Summit from here. The Summit safe is very nice. It will probably be the next safe I buy.

Decent cash and carry deals can be had here too.

Tractor Supply also has some good safes at reasonable prices. Picked one up last week and am very pleased with it.
